1. Return Policy
It is important to us that you, our customer, are completely satisfied with each book you purchase from us. Therefore, if you are not happy with your purchase, you may return books by bringing or shipping them back to the store for a full refund.
Please note:
  • Books must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
  • Items must be in new, salable condition. Please note, we do not take returns of used books.
  • 'Sale' items are non-returnable
  • Store credit will be provided for all returned items. On request, refunds will be provided in the same tender or to the same credit card used in the original purchase, and only if accompanied by the original QABC sales receipt.
  • Return shipping charges will not be refunded, unless an incorrect book was shipped or the book arrived damaged.
 
2. Shipping
USA Domestic Shipments
Includes USA States and US Territories.
 
Processing time to shipping is currently 1-3 days. Packages normally ship when the order is complete. Orders may be split up in separate packages if there is substantial time between availability of merchandise.
 
Shipping Options and Rates:
When checking out your on-line order, you must select one of the following options:
Gift Certificates: free of charge shipping
Pickup at store: free of charge
Delivery in the Queen Anne Neighborhood: free of charge
USPS Low Cost (Media Mail - 2-9 days): $4.50 + $1.00 for each item
USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days): $6.50 + $2.00 for each item
 
Please note that while the overwhelming majority of packages shipped arrive within the time specified above, in rare cases shipments they can take longer to arrive. USPS shipping volumes may also impact shipping times. Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and APO/FPO addresses: Media Mail shipments can take 3 to 8 weeks to arrive.
 
International Shipments
Currently we are not shipping outside the USA and US Territories.

What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
What do we use your information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways

    • Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

    • The email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (name, address, e-mail, etc.)  may be kept on file for more than 60 days in order to process future transactions. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Do we use cookies?
Yes (Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart.

Queen Anne Book Company will keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it is being processed for.
