12/4: Vine & Verse: a thematic poetry series -- "Love"

You are invited to a series of poetry and discussion the first Monday night of the month:

December 4, 2017

7:00pm- 8:30pm
at Queen Anne Book Company
1811 Queen Anne Avenue North

Each night of poetry and discussion will revolve around a different theme: Love (12/4).

December's featured poet is Anne M Doe Overstreet, author of Delicate Machinery Suspended. "To love well is to offer one's full attention. To serve others is often a matter of drawing their attention to the beauties--broken, wounded, suggestive, profound--that visit us endlessly. Anne Overstreet loves well, and she serves well; she is the witness of the dawn, and of our desired awakening." -Scott Cairns, author of Compass of Affection

Everyone attending is invited to share a poem that speaks to the theme of the evening, whether your own work or a poem written
by someone else.

This is a free event. Wine, soda, and light snacks provided.

Vine & Verse is sponsored through a partnership between Queen Anne Lutheran ChurchQueen Anne Presbyterian Church, and Queen Anne Book Company.
